After laying a solid movement foundation and building muscle through the Gain Phase, we now enter the Strong Phase—where we begin to realize the full potential of your body. This is the point where strength, power, and purpose meet.
At the Performance Ranch, we believe strength is king. It’s what carries you through the unexpected—like catching yourself from a fall, lifting your bike into the truck bed, or powering up a steep incline on your favorite trail. But we’re not talking about brute strength for show. We’re building real-world strength that makes you resilient, durable, and confident in your body.
The Strong Phase is about more than just heavier lifts. It’s where we refine your power output, increase load tolerance, and integrate force production into multiple planes of motion. It’s where mobility meets muscle, and skill meets challenge. By this point, your body has earned the right to handle more intensity, because you’ve trained the movement patterns, reinforced posture and position, and built control under load.
Now, it’s time to test and expand those limits—with purpose and precision.
For those in their 40s, 50s, or 60s, the Strong Phase is critical. You’re not just training to look fit—you’re training to keep doing the things you love. Whether that’s hiking the Sandias, helping your kids move, biking the Nambe Badlands, or traveling pain-free, your strength is your freedom.
That’s why our program doesn’t rely on cookie-cutter routines or ego lifting. We emphasize:
This is the phase where clients start to see profound improvements. You’ll notice stronger lifts, better posture, and higher energy in your daily life. One client recently told me, “I didn’t realize how much I missed feeling strong—not just in the gym, but in my day-to-day.”
That’s what this is all about—building the capacity to live life beyond the gym walls.
And for those recovering from injury or managing chronic issues, the Strong Phase is a game-changer. You’re not just rehabbing—you’re rebuilding. You’ll see better joint stability, improved bone density, and stronger connective tissue. We’re investing in future you—the one who still wants to hike, ride, and play 10 years from now.
Every rep, every set, every session is guided by your coach. You’ll get expert instruction on tempo, rest periods, and technique. You’ll hear us cue you on head, shoulder, hip, and foot position—because movement quality never stops mattering.
And we don’t stop at strength training. During this phase, we continue to monitor:
We’re using science, systems, and a whole-lifestyle approach to ensure you get stronger in ways that last.
If you’re already a member, talk to your coach about how your program is evolving into the Strong Phase—and what to expect next. You’ll also go through a Kinotek Overhead Squat Screen to assess movement quality and give your coach precise insights on how to support you.
If you’re new to the Performance Ranch and want to start aging gracefully and getting stronger with purpose, book your free strategy session here. You’ll get a personalized plan based on your movement screen, goals, and lifestyle.
