Eight years ago, I opened the doors to the Performance Ranch with a simple mission: help people live life beyond the gym walls. Not just to move more or eat better, but to become the strongest, most resilient version of themselves—physically, mentally, and spiritually.
We’ve never aimed for ordinary. We built a facility and coaching system that challenges the status quo. One that dares to ask more from you, and of us. A system rooted in experience, refined through science, and powered by purpose.
Over the years, we developed our foundation: the 7 Pillars of Warrior Resilience & Optimal Performance. These are more than just ideas—they’re the blueprint for a life well-lived:
In a world overflowing with wellness advice, we simplify what matters most. Because too many people feel stuck—overwhelmed by choices, unsure where to start, and pulled in every direction. That’s where we come in.
I’ve spent the last two decades immersed in this work. I’ve traveled the world, coaching elite athletes and learning from the best in human performance. What I’ve seen behind the scenes are the real habits, systems, and mindsets that create champions—not just in sport, but in life.
And we bring that same high-level approach to everyone who walks into the Performance Ranch.
Because you don’t need to be a pro athlete to train with purpose. You just need a coach who understands how to build a strong foundation—then layer on intensity, mobility, recovery, and mindset in the right sequence.
The Performance Ranch Training System is designed around you. It’s progressive, personalized, and built to meet you where you are, whether you’re starting from scratch or trying to reach your next level.
Our system follows four key phases:
Each phase lasts around 12 weeks. Your coach guides you with intention, not guesswork. And whether you realize it or not, each workout is stacking the habits and movement quality that help you thrive long-term. Some clients may never see the Perform Phase, but each workout we are priming your ability to move well and absorb force. We are making you bulletproof from the inside out.
When we talk about living life beyond the gym walls, we mean it.
This year, I walked away from two major mountain bike crashes. I had minor injuries and a mild concussion—but no fractures, no surgeries. The years of strength work, positional training, and consistency paid off.
That’s what I want for everyone we train. Resilience. The ability to bounce back. To move well in the real world—on trails, with your grandkids, in your garden, or on a trip abroad.
I’m constantly inspired by our clients who age with grace and grit. People like Dick and Julia, in their upper 80s, who have been training with us for over 15 years. They’ve built strength and movement patterns that allow them to stay independent, active, and joyful. That’s the power of consistent coaching.
And it’s a testament to the community we’ve built—one rooted in trust, guidance, and a deep respect for the human journey.
If you’re already part of the Ranch family, your coach will be reviewing your goals soon. During this quarterly review, we’ll revisit your training progress, discuss your lifestyle routines, and refine your plan moving forward to ensure it aligns with your performance and well-being goals.
As part of this process, we’ll also be administering your Kinotek Movement Assessment—a simple, high-tech overhead squat test that gives us powerful insights into how you move. It allows us to coach you with greater precision and customize your program based on real data—not just guesswork. It’s quick, easy, and incredibly informative.
Whether you’re working to improve posture, reduce injury risk, or unlock better performance, your Kinotek report will help us train you smarter.
If you’re new here and just getting started, now is the perfect time.
